Cultural Perspectives is the Group’s multicultural communications offer and the company’s heritage brand. Since the company’s inception, Cultural Perspectives has delivered innovative, informed and effective multicultural communication campaigns for clients across the government, corporate and not-for-profit sectors.

CIRCA

With 20 years experience, CIRCA is an industry leader in research and evaluation with culturally diverse communities and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples. We support government and non-government organisations and agencies to hear from the diversity of voices within Australia’s population.

Our key strength is our extensive national network of highly skilled bilingual and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander research consultants. Utilising bilingual and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander research consultants delivers insightful outcomes for clients while upholding a culturally sensitive, respectful and collaborative approach.

Our team have strong research, evaluation, policy and communications backgrounds and extensive experience working in cross-cultural settings. This experience and knowledge offers significant value for our clients in understanding Australia’s diversity and developing strategies and programs to reflect this diversity.

Methodologies are tailored to each project, and include community consultation and engagement, in-depth interviewing, focus groups, survey data, participatory methods, as well as other approaches appropriate for a given context.

DiverseWerks

DiverseWerks is the company’s consultancy offer led by diversity expert and managing director, Pino Migliorino. While a new offer, it builds on and maximises the value of the many strong relationships we have with CALD communities and their structures.

In many ways, DiverseWerks is the glue that binds together structures and the diverse populations that they need to relate to.

DiverseWerks is successfully delivering the following services:

  • organisational change management including strategic planning, governance reviews and other management support
  • developing organisational competency to deal with diverse environments and client groups. This takes the form of multicultural plans, responsiveness frameworks and engagement strategies
  • developing worker competency through cultural competency training design and delivery
  • community capacity building through facilitated collaboration, tender writing, strategic advice and support
  • diversity and migration expertise and consultancy

    Anne has more than 18 years of experience in conducting research and evaluation with Indigenous Australians and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Anne’s expertise includes both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, program evaluation, attitudinal and developmental research, and communications research.

    Anne has managed projects for both public and private sector clients across a diverse portfolio including health, welfare reform, education, employment, justice, family violence, problem gambling and financial services. Anne is a member of the Australasian Evaluation Society; Australasian Market and Social Research Society; and a Qualified Market Research Practitioner (QPMR).

    Pino is a leading expert on multicultural marketing and communications strategies; access and equity policies; and arts and cultural policies. He has worked extensively with governments, corporates and community groups on a wide range of projects since founding Cultural Perspectives in 1994.

    Pino was Chair of Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia for four years to 2013 and holds a number of key advisory roles, including as a representative on the NSW Police Multicultural Advisory Committee and the Department of Human Services Council on Strategy and Innovation.
